Albert Bradley Thomason

Mr. Thomason's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill III, C-5, Space 2. ALBERT BRADLEY THOMASON, age 74, of Jackson, Georgia, became one of God's angels in the early morning hours of Friday, June 10, 2011.Mr. Thomason was born on October 23, 1936, to the late Albert B. and Fannie Grace Poole Thomason. He was a United States Veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Thomason will be missed greatly. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Sue Brewer Thomason; children, Al and Kathy Thomason, Mitchell and Miriam Thomason, Lynn and Craig Griffis, and "Lil" Mitch Thomason; grandchildren Mandy, and Jason Pines, Cami and Eli Mills, Ashley Sumner, Brad and Amy Thomason, Caleb Thomason, Kyle Head, Kyran Griffis, Lizzie Griffis, Katrina and Brandon Bender, James and Lori Askew, Samantha and Charlie Moss; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Blackburn; and brother and sister-in-law, James and Syble Thomason. A memorial service will be held at Cedar Rock Church in Jackson, GA on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Services will be Sunday, June 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, 245 Highway 441 South, Demorest, GA. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, GA with full Military Honors provided by the Georgia National Guard, Rabun County DAV Chapter #15, Habersham County American Legion Post # 84 and the Grant Reeves VFW Post # 7720. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour, on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
