Betty Jo Kimbrell

Mrs. Kimbrell's final place of rest is located at Garden of Remembrance II, H-15, Space 3. Betty Jo Kimbrell, age 72 of Demorest, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Habersham Home. Born on July 23, 1940 in Habersham County, she was a daughter of the late Alonza and Lucy Nix Moore. Mrs. Kimbrell was formerly employed with Regal Manufacturing and was of the Baptist faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, swimming, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kimbrell was also preceded in death by grandparents, Roland and Carrie Moore and a brother, Charles Moore. Survivors include husband of 51 years, Efford Kimbrell of Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Paula Kimbrell of Mt. Airy; sister, Selva Jean Dorsey of Clarkesville; brother, Rex Nix of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 2:00 pm Thursday, May 02, 2013, from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Sanford Kimbrell officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
