Carol Joy Conner, age 76 of Demorest, Georgia, previously, an OG member of the Sharon community passed away surrounded by her family on September 21, 2026.

Carol was born on September 1, 1950, to Joseph Eloy and Marjorie Hall in Forsyth County Georgia. She was the youngest of the four Hall children. She met the love of her life, Lee Brice Conner through a family member and they were married on June 30, 1968, and have spent 58 wonderful years, making a life for themselves and their children. Shortly after marriage, Lee was deployed to Vietnam, where he served his second tour. While stationed in Anaheim, California, they welcomed the first of their two daughters Kimberlee Suzanne soon after her arrival they moved back to their hometown of Sharon community where later their second daughter was born Kelly Leigh.

Carol was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, and then promoted to NANA. Carol was proceeded in death by her parents JE and Marjorie Hall and her brother Lonnie Hall.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Lee B Conner, daughters Kim (David) Anderson & Kelly (Patrick) Robertson, grandchildren: Brett (Sarah) Anderson, Blake Anderson, Emma Anderson, great grandson, Baker Anderson, 3 Grand Puppies: Missouri, Bella & Dolly, siblings: Rena (Joe) Conner, Myra (Ronnie) Powell, Janice Hall (surviving spouse of Lonnie Hall)

Funeral Services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2026in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Powell and Rev. Mark Akins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, Thursday, September 24, 2026 at the funeral home.

A private interment will follow at Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, Georgia.

Pallbearers will be David Anderson, Patrick Robertson, Brett Anderson, Blake Anderson, Baker Anderson (honorary pallbearer).

In lieu of flowers Carol has requested donations be made in her honor to: Shriner's Children’s Hospital or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
