Mrs. West's final place of rest is at Garden of Devotion II, L-9, Space 2. Deborah Hansard West, age 53, of Cleveland, formerly of Demorest, passed away Thursday, May 07, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. West was born in Dekalb County on July 12, 1955. She was preceded in death by her mother Cora Miller Hansard and brother Danny Hansard. She was an accountant and attended The Bridge Church in Cleveland and The Torch Church in Cornelia. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Saturday May 9, 2009 in the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Aubrey McIntyre and Rev. Curtis Jackson will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. and 6-9 P.M. Friday at the funeral Home. Survivors include her husband Tommy West, Cleveland; daughter and son in law Jennifer wade and Daniel Ridlehoover, Clarkesville; Son and girl friend Allen Wade and Jessica Sargent, Cleveland; father and step mother R.L. and Patsy Hansard, Demorest; sister and brother in law Diane and Charles Kerns, Demorest; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
