Ms. Tapley's final place of rest is located at Sunset Hill I, A-11, Space 4.
Patsy Ann Hogan Tapley passed peacefully from this life on January 19,2026 at the age of 86.
Pat was a joy to all who knew her. She grew up as the oldest of five siblings. Her father was a preacher who instilled in her the caring of others. She was a shining example of the hands and feet of Christ. She served in many ministries throughout her life and touched the lives of countless individuals.
Pat was preceded in death by her father and mother, Reverend T.E Hogan and Sarah Plunkett Hogan, along with her brother, Jimmy Hogan, and sister, Barbara Hogan York.
She is survived by her sister Faye Hogan Zimmerman, (David) and brother, Tony Hogan, ( Beverly) along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Pat also leaves behind her only son, Joel, and his wife, Jennifer. She was blessed with two wonderful granddaughters that she adored, Kristen Tapley Reece, (Jon) and Mackenzie Tapley. Her three great grandsons were her final crowning glory. Jonah, Malachi, and Asher were the bright spot in her life.
She was a wonderful grandmother and her family’s biggest cheerleader. If you talked to her more than five minutes you knew that her family was her pride and joy.
Her sweet spirit will forever be missed, but her legacy will live on in her family.
Pat will be laid to rest on January 29, 2026 at 2:00pm. Her final resting place will be Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, GA where a graveside service will be held.
Her friends and family can find peace in knowing we will be together again because of the redeeming power of Jesus Christ.
