Mr. Veach's final place of rest is at Sunset Hill, E-21, Space 3. Richard P. Veach, age 76, of Baldwin, GA, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Habersham County Medical Center. Mr. Veach was born on July 29, 1930 in Porter County, Indiana to the late Russell Charles and Ethel Leona Petrie Veach. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Arlene Bone Veach and a sister, Kathleen Carroths. Mr. Veach was a retired truck driver. Mr. Veach was the last surviving member of his immediate family. A special friend survives who was like a daughter to Mr. Veach, Kathy Collins, Clarkesville, GA. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 27, 2007 from the Yonah Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tom Mewborn officiating.
