Ronnie Lee Sims passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025. Ronnie was born in Clarkesville, GA on June 22, 1956 to Harold and Evelyn Sims.

One of five children, Ronnie attended Habersham Central High School. After graduating from high school, Ronnie joined the US Marine Corp. After fulfilling his military service, Ronnie worked in the business of logging timber and cultivating firewood throughout his life. He was also known for his truck driving skills, large machine mechanic work and his ability to sell almost anything.

Ronnie's hobby was precious stone collecting and panning for gold. He was a kind and gentle man with an endearing sense of humor. Ronnie had a soft spot for the homeless and disadvantaged, as he would share room and board for those in need.

Ronnie was predeceased by his Father Harold Sims, and brothers Dennis and Rickey Sims. He is survived by his Mother Evelyn Dixon Sims, sister Vicki Sims-Skorput and brother Tony Sims.

At Ronnie's request, there will be a small service for immediate family. The graveside burial service will be private.

In Ronnie's memory, donations may be made to the Good News Clinics, 810 Pine Street, Gainesville, GA 30501.
