Susan Kay Watkins

Mrs. Watkins' final place of rest is located at Garden of Devotion II, A-8, Space 3. Susan Kay Wilbanks Watkins, age 53, of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 at her residence. Born in Habersham County on November 13, 1957, she was a daughter of the late James L. and Margaret Stamey Wilbanks. Mrs. Watkins was a native of Habersham County. She was the owner and operator of S & W Designs. She was a member of Return Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Wesley L. Watkins of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Katherine Mae and Kevin Ingram of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Jada Ingram and Devin Ingram. Funeral services are 11:00 am Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Clifford Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday. Cemetery Arrangements have been entrusted to Yonah Memorial Gardens at 255 Central Avenue, Demorest, Ga. 30535.
