William Edwin Roberts

Mr. Roberts' final place of rest is located at Garden of Devotion II, I-8, Space 2. Mr. William Edwin Roberts of Homer, formerly of Sandy Cross, passed away on April 12, 2014, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Roberts was a member of the Double Spring's Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; Mr. William Cebe Roberts and Mrs. Inez Todd Roberts, brothers; Allen Eugene Roberts and Marvin Henry Roberts, sisters; Lettie Pearl Beck and Mary Elizabeth Roberts. He is survived by his loving wife, Gladys Rawlins Roberts of Homer, one brother and sister-in-law; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Roberts of Sandy Cross, one sister; Mildred Wells of Texas, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Roberts is also survived by his step-children and spouses; Rev. and Mrs. Greg Rawlins of Cumming, and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hardesty of Homer, step-grandchildren; Will and Sam Rawlins of Cumming, and Lauren Tullis of Homer. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel in Royston at 3:00 P.M.. Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, GA. Cemetery Arrangements have been entrusted to Yonah Memorial Gardens at 255 Central Avenue, Demorest, Ga. 30535.
